By installing or using GitSpider you agree to these terms. GitSpider is independently operated from the United States; contact support@gitspider.com.
GitSpider provides GitHub Actions analytics, recommendations, and alerts. It's under active development — we may modify, add, suspend, or discontinue any feature, limit, or the whole service at any time, and we won't be liable for any such change, interruption, or downtime. Its analytics, benchmarks, recommendations, and alerts are informational only and shouldn't be relied on as the sole basis for engineering, operational, security, or business decisions. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and able to form a binding contract to use GitSpider.
Install GitSpider only on repositories you own or are authorized to manage. You're responsible for activity under your account.
By using GitSpider you represent that the information you provide is accurate, you have the legal capacity to accept these terms and are at least 13, you'll comply with these terms and applicable law, and you won't use the service for any unlawful purpose or through unauthorized automated means.
By using GitSpider you agree to receive communications from us electronically — including notices about your account, billing, security, and changes to these terms — at the email associated with your account or through the service.
GitSpider depends on GitHub and other third-party services (e.g. Stripe, Slack, Resend). We don't control them and aren't responsible for their outages, API or policy changes, or any acts or omissions on their part that affect or interrupt GitSpider.
Paid plans (Team, Org) start with a 14-day free trial. After the trial, your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually, per your plan) at the then-current price and bills through Stripe until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your billing settings; access continues until the end of the current period, then the plan reverts to free. We don't offer refunds for partial billing periods. We may change pricing on at least 30 days' notice, given through the service, by email, or by updating our pricing page.
You keep ownership of your data; you grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide the service. We may also create and use aggregated and de-identified data derived from it (e.g. CI benchmarks) for benchmarking and to maintain and improve the service, provided it can't reasonably be used to re-identify you or your repositories. We do not publicly disclose repository-specific data, and we only publish or share benchmarking information in aggregated or de-identified form; operational sub-processors that process your data to run the service are listed in our subprocessor list. If you send us feedback, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use it without restriction or obligation to you. GitSpider and all of its software, design, and content are our intellectual property — these terms transfer none of it to you.
Don't abuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or use it to access data you aren't authorized to. We may suspend or terminate installations that violate these terms or put the service at risk.
We may, at our discretion, monitor the service for violations, take appropriate legal action, and restrict, disable, or remove access or content that burdens our systems or breaches these terms — without liability to you.
The service and our pages may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions, including in pricing and descriptions. We may correct these and change or update information at any time without prior notice.
You're responsible for the data you connect to GitSpider. We aren't liable for any loss or corruption of that data; GitHub remains your source of truth, and you should keep your own backups of anything important to you.
You may stop using GitSpider at any time by uninstalling the GitHub App. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms, nonpayment, security concerns, abuse, legal requirements, or discontinuation of the service. On termination your right to use GitSpider ends immediately. Provisions on ownership, feedback, aggregated and de-identified data, indemnification, disclaimers, limitation of liability, arbitration, and governing law survive termination.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold GitSpider harmless from any third-party claim or liability arising from your data, your use of the service, or your violation of these terms, applicable law, or GitHub's terms.
GITSPIDER IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR ACCURATE. ITS RECOMMENDATIONS ARE GUIDANCE, NOT GUARANTEES. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR DATA. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS CAPPED AT THE GREATER OF THE FEES YOU PAID US IN THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS OR US $100.
You represent that you are not located in, or a national or resident of, any country or on any list subject to U.S. export restrictions or sanctions, and that you won't use GitSpider in violation of any export-control or sanctions law.
Under California Civil Code §1789.3, California users may report complaints to the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs in writing at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by phone at (800) 952-5210.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any court action permitted under these terms (such as small-claims actions or requests for injunctive relief) must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California, and the parties consent to their jurisdiction.
Most concerns can be resolved by emailing us first. If a dispute can't be resolved informally, you and GitSpider agree to settle it by binding individual arbitration rather than in court — except that either party may still bring claims in small-claims court or seek injunctive relief for misuse of the service or its intellectual property. YOU AND GITSPIDER WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. Arbitration is conducted on an individual basis before the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, in or near California. You may opt out within 30 days of first accepting these terms by emailing support@gitspider.com with your account name and a statement that you opt out; opting out doesn't affect the rest of these terms.
These terms are the entire agreement between us and supersede prior understandings. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest stay in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision isn't a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them, including in connection with a merger or sale. Neither party is liable for failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
We may update these terms; continued use after a change means you accept it.
